Aerial Survey Pilot and Aerial Photograher

Surdex Corporation is seeking early career pilots to fly our single-engine piston aircraft (Cessna 206) to perform aerial image and data acquisition for mapping.  In addition, there will be flights where you perform a Sensor Operator (Photographer) role while another pilot is flying the aircraft. You must be willing to assume the Sensor Operator role when needed.

We are seeking pilots who are willing to make a commitment for approximately three years.  Surdex makes a significant investment in developing our pilots to advance to multi-engine aircraft.  

Single-engine piston pilots are required to live within two hours of KSUS.  Paid relocation is not available for this position. 

The flight rotation schedule is two consecutive weeks on and one week off.

You are the ideal candidate if you have the following:

• Commercial certificate with SEL, MEL and IR
• High Performance and Complex endorsements
• Second class medical certification
• Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record
• Ability to work a schedule of two consecutive weeks on and one week off
• Ability to pass DOT pre-employment, random and post-accident drug tests
• US Passport or ability to obtain one
• Passion for flying and achieving great results
• Team player, great communicator and continual learner
