Geospatial Analyst - Stereo Compiler

The Compiler is responsible for the accurate collection and manipulation of planimetric and topographic features within a softcopy collection system.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Compile planimetric and topographic features from stereo imagery
  • Ensure geospatial data is accurate by using standardized quality control processes
  • Verify all source materials, including boundaries, control and stereopairs during project set-up
  • Maintain up-to-date status reporting and tracking on all projects
  • Perform peer review on compiled models

Successful Candidates Will Possess:

  • Bachelor's degree in Geospatial Sciences or 5+ years of experience in stereo compilation
  • Proficiency in ESRI, ArcGIS 10.X required
  • Familiarity with Summit Evolution or comparable softcopy suite
  • Working knowledge of Microstation and Terrasolid Suite (TscanTmodel)
  • Ability to learn new software and processes quickly
  • Normal color and 3-D Stereo vision while working in a low light environment
