Human Resource Administrator

Surdex is growing and we are adding a Human Resource Administrator to support the HR Manager with daily responsibilities and projects.  This is an opportunity for you to bring your HR knowledge and experience and develop it as we grow. 

The HR Administrator will have a generalist role and contribute to the following areas.

Recruitment and Onboarding

HR continues to develop and improve our recruitment and onboarding strategy and process.  Your role would maintain job descriptions, prepare ads and job postings, interact with candidates, and administer pre-hire, post-hire and onboard processing.

Benefits Administration

Surdex wants to ensure our employees and their families have benefit plan information, tools and resources to responsibly manage their health.  Your role would assist with preparation and administration of benefit documents, educational initiatives, and wellness programs

Employee Engagement Activities

Surdex is committed to the continued development of a culture that fosters learning, employee engagement and fun.  Your role would include planning and executing employee events and communications.    

HR Administration

Surdex relies on HR to provide quality, accuracy, and compliance in all employee records, documents employees, policies and practices.  Your role would assist with managing paper and electronic files, preparing various compliance and company reports and maintaining the handbook and bulletin boards.

• Bachelor's degree in Business, preferably Human Resources
• 3+ years working in an HR position
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• General knowledge of federal and state employment laws
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, working knowledge of HR/Payroll systems is a plus
• Ability to maintain confidentiality
• Relationship-building skills and exceptional internal customer service
• Ability to relate to a diverse group of people with professionalism, diplomacy and respect
